Vinessa Wine Food & Cocktail Bar Project

In the heart of the increasingly vibrant Jesolo (Venice, Italy), stands Vinessa Wine, Food & Cocktail Bar, a venue that is much more than a simple meeting point: it is a style statement, a multi-sensory experience that envelops visitors in a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. This project, curated by Krea Casa Arredi, saw the light thanks to the collaboration with Instabilelab, which contributed with customised design solutions for wallcoverings and fabrics.

Instabilelab wallpaper and curtains play a central role in characterising the interior and defining the natural and sophisticated atmosphere of the room.

The strong visual impact is given by the continuity of the Ginco design between walls and ceiling, coordinated with the curtains made of Cortina fabric. A choice that is not only aesthetic but also functional, underlining the importance of innovative and safe solutions in the world of catering.

We met with Potito Tiso, owner of Krea Kasa Arredi, to discover the secrets behind the creation of an environment that not only enchants, but also tells a story of details, emotions and strategic choices.

Every interior design project stems from a vision. What was the main objective for Vinessa and how did you translate the client’s requests into concrete spaces?

Vinessa Wine Bar was born with the idea of creating a sophisticated and elegant environment that could offer an immersive experience that would enhance the pleasure of wine and conviviality. The main objective was to combine the timeless charm of Venetian traditions with a contemporary and sophisticated design.

To translate this vision into concrete spaces, we worked on materials, colours and furnishings that convey warmth and sophistication. The choice of finishes, soft lighting and material textures played a key role in creating an enveloping atmosphere, where every detail contributes to a unique experience. Instabilelab’s contribution was decisive: the wallpaper and fabrics gave stylistic continuity and character to the rooms, transforming Vinessa into a place that tells a story of elegance, hospitality and attention to detail. Each element has been carefully chosen to create a balance between aesthetics and functionality, guaranteeing an exclusive experience for guests. The result is an environment that is not only beautiful to look at, but that lives through the emotions of those who frequent it.

How did the idea of using the botanical theme of the Sfumature di Magnolia collection come about and what characteristics guided the choice of the Ginco graphic? What emotions did you want to evoke in Vinessa’s guests?

The idea of using the botanical theme of the Sfumature di Magnolia collection came from the desire to create an ambience that was at once refined, natural and emotional. The reference to nature seemed the perfect way to add a sense of harmony and lightness to the interior, without sacrificing the elegance that characterises the venue.

The choice of the Ginco graphic was guided by its ability to combine delicacy and personality: the stylised shapes and colour contrasts give depth to the space, creating an enveloping and sophisticated effect. This decoration, used in continuity between walls and ceiling, amplifies the perception of space and helps to define a unique visual identity.

The aim was to evoke in customers a feeling of well-being and exclusivity, transporting them to an environment where design and atmosphere come together to offer a multi-sensory experience. The result is a venue that stands out for its refined style and its ability to welcome guests in an evocative and captivating setting.

– Cortina fabric is appreciated for its certified fire-retardant properties. How important is it in the catering industry to reconcile aesthetics and safety?

In the catering industry, the balance between aesthetics and safety is crucial. A detailed and visually appealing environment must always meet high safety standards, especially in spaces open to the public.

The choice of Cortina fabric was dictated precisely by the need to combine beauty and functionality. Its certified fire-retardant properties guarantee a level of safety that is essential for a place like Vinessa, without compromising on design. The texture of the fabric and its ability to integrate perfectly with the other decorative elements made this solution ideal for maintaining a refined and welcoming atmosphere, in full compliance with safety regulations.

This demonstrates how important it is to select materials that, in addition to enhancing the aesthetics of rooms, can also offer reliability and adequate technical performance. Only through this synergy is it possible to create spaces that are both scenic and safe, enhancing the overall guest experience.

– Instead, the choice of New Middle wallpaper substrate reflects a careful assessment of the needs of a high-traffic room. What characteristics of this material made it ideal for guaranteeing an aesthetically impeccable and technically durable result?

In a high-traffic venue like Vinessa, the durability of materials is an essential aspect. The choice of the New Middle backing for the wallpaper was dictated by its ability to combine durability and aesthetics, ensuring a solution that was both refined and functional.

This material is distinguished by its high robustness and ease of maintenance, two fundamental characteristics in an environment where daily contact with customers and staff can put a strain on surfaces. In addition, the quality of the printing on New Middle ensures intense colour rendition and sharp details, allowing the chosen design to retain its expressive power over time.

Thanks to these properties, New Middle material enabled us to achieve an impeccable result in every respect: a refined aesthetic, a valuable material sensation and a long service life, which is essential to ensure the beauty of the interior without the need for frequent interventions.

– Customisation is a key element in contemporary design. How did the possibility to perfectly coordinate wallpaper and fabrics influence the definition of Vinessa’s identity? What advantages did it bring to rely on a single supplier for both solutions?

Customisation was a key aspect in the design of Vinessa. The opportunity to perfectly co-ordinate wallpaper and fabrics made it possible to create a strong and recognisable visual identity, giving stylistic continuity to the rooms and making the space even more immersive.

Being able to rely on a single supplier for both solutions, such as Instabilelab, was a huge advantage. It ensured us a perfect harmony between the different elements, simplifying the selection process and optimising the implementation time. It also ensured an aesthetic consistency that would have been more difficult to achieve with different suppliers.

This synergy between wallpaper and textiles is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also of emotion: every detail is designed to tell a unique story and make Vinessa a place where design and atmosphere blend naturally and distinctively.

What are the main challenges when designing environments that have to be at the same time cosy, elegant and functional like Vinessa? How has Instabilelab supported your design vision to overcome these challenges?

The main challenge in designing a room like Vinessa is to find the right balance between aesthetics, functionality and comfort. A room must be visually striking, but at the same time practical and welcoming for guests and those who work there. It is essential to choose durable materials, intelligent solutions to optimise space and a design that enhances the experience without being excessive or dispersive.

Instabilelab played a key role in overcoming these challenges, offering tailor-made solutions to combine beauty and practicality. The choice of high-quality wallpapers and high-performance fabrics made it possible to maintain a sophisticated elegance without sacrificing durability and ease of maintenance, which are essential aspects of a high-end venue.

Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to create an environment that is not only beautiful to look at, but also perfectly meets the needs of a dynamic venue like Vinessa. The result is a space that welcomes, surprises and leaves a lasting impression on customers.

The Vinessa Wine, Food & Cocktail Bar project is a perfect example of how contemporary interior design can harmoniously blend aesthetics and functionality, creating spaces that tell stories through every detail. The partnership between Krea Casa Arredi and Instabilelab has created an environment where cutting-edge technical solutions – from wallpaper to fireproof fabrics – translate into a sophisticated and welcoming multi-sensory experience. The result is a venue that not only responds to the practical needs of modern catering, but also redefines the concept of hospitality, demonstrating how care in design and the choice of fine materials can transform an environment into an authentic destination of style capable of leaving a mark on the experience of those who live in it.
