THE CLUB: the Elegance of Italian Design at ICFF Toronto
The Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF) is an annual celebration of contemporary Italian and international cinema. Founded in 2012, the ICFF has become a landmark for film enthusiasts, providing a platform for filmmakers, actors and industry professionals to showcase their work to a global audience.
This year, the festival takes place in Toronto’s striking Distillery Historic District – an iconic location – transformed into an outdoor film village for the Lavazza IncluCity Festival. With its cobblestone streets and red brick buildings, the Distillery District provides a perfect setting for the festival events, which include outdoor film showings, lectures and special activities celebrating multiculturalism and diversity. Together with Black Bread + Jam, the Canadian distributor of Instabilelab, this year ICFF presents the Jammin’ Design Movies project.
The initiative aims at telling stories through short films made by Italian filmmakers, including in the set design one or more furnishing products of Made in Italy companies. Instabilelab’s short film shot inside “The Club“, our creative hub, where emotions, art and imagination meet in a timeless space, fits into this context. Instabilelab wallpapers are not only featured in the short film, but are also confirmed as protagonists within the Festival.
On the stage, in the Lavazza Lounge area and in the Info Box space, it will be possible to admire the settings created with our company’s wallpapers and fabrics, immersing oneself in a truly unique visual and sensorial experience. Wallpaper, carpets and textiles represent the three souls of Instabilelab, three worlds that come together to create unique environments of sophisticated design. In this way, the path undertaken by Instabilelab continues, aimed at redefining the boundaries of design and creativity, once again demonstrating the value and innovation of Made in Italy.
